Refund Policy
Refunds and Cancellations
All ticket purchases are subject to a 14-day cooling-off period in accordance with Directive 2011/83/EU and the Portuguese Decree-Law No. 24/2014. During this period, you may cancel your purchase for any reason and receive a full refund without any fees.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must notify us in writing at info@simplyortho-meetingfriends.com within 14 days of the conclusion of the contract. Refunds will be made using the same method of payment used for the original transaction.
After the 14-day reflection period, all ticket sales are considered final and non-refundable, except where required by applicable law. In exceptional cases where a refund is approved after this period, a €10 (or $10) administrative fee may apply.
Name changes are allowed free of charge until 30 days before the event. No name changes will be accepted after that date, and the ticket value will be forfeited.
Event Conditions and Ownership
Your ticket remains the property of Simply ORTHO Unipessoal Lda and constitutes a personal, revocable license. Admission to the conference may be refused at any time, with a refund of the registration price printed on the ticket. It is strictly forbidden for any individual, company, or organisation to host or promote any event in conjunction with or claiming association with the Simply ORTHO Annual Meeting without prior written consent from Simply ORTHO Unipessoal Lda. Breach of this clause may result in ticket cancellation and legal action. Tickets are for personal or business use only and may not be resold or transferred, including as part of promotions or competitions. Any unauthorised resale will render the ticket void and may result in refusal of entry. Simply ORTHO Unipessoal Lda reserves the right to cancel any ticket purchase reasonably believed to be associated with resale or brokerage activity.
Programme and Event Changes
While every effort is made to ensure that the event programme, speakers, topics, venue, and dates are accurate, circumstances beyond our control may require substitutions, postponements, or changes to content, format, themes, or location. If the Event is postponed, substitute passes for the new date will be provided. No refunds will be issued for postponements. If the Event is cancelled, a full refund will be provided. Updates regarding changes will be published on the official Simply ORTHO channels (Facebook Page, Group, and website www.simplyortho-meetingfriends.com).
Liability and Conduct
Simply ORTHO Unipessoal Lda reserves the right to refuse admission to any attendee for unacceptable behaviour or breach of these terms and conditions. The company is not responsible for lost or stolen tickets. Unauthorised photography or recording is prohibited. Attendance at the event implies consent to being photographed or recorded. Simply ORTHO Unipessoal Lda shall not be liable for loss, injury, or damage except in cases of negligence, wilful misconduct, or liability that cannot legally be excluded under Portuguese or EU law. Visa requirements are the sole responsibility of the attendee. If a visa application is refused, tickets will not be refunded.
